Steff shared special moments with this dear pig on her way to be brutally murdered and rendered into cheap meat, for the sake of a ten minute meal that will soon be shitted out again and the pointless, barbaric cycle repeated again.
This is the first - and last - act of kindness these pigs were ever shown. They got a quick drink before the truck pulled away.
Words will never express how much I hate you for fucking paying for this.
“A glass of milk, a cup of yogurt, a slice of cheese, all require enormous amounts of violence, exploitation, mutilation, enslavement, theft and murder. None of these products come from happy, willing cows. All of these products can be made from almonds, soy beans, coconuts, cashews and other plants. It’s really a simple choice of compassion, justice and empathy.”

there’s a storm coming and it smells beautiful outside. And a massive trail of hundreds of black ants are walking up the wall in the backroom, I left the door a tiny bit open for them in case they wanted to go back outside and we had a chat about nothing in particular. Ants don’t really give much back in conversation, I’ve found, compared to other insects anyway- they’re very focused. I’ve heard they enjoy jazz though. I’m going to go and play pokemon next to them.
You aren’t ”going vegan” for ~insert temporary amount of time here~
You are “eating a plant based diet” for ~insert temporary amount of time here~
Don’t associate your dumb cleanse with my ethical lifestyle.
Veganism is a social justice issue where we actively fight towards eliminating speciesism. It has nothing to do with us. It has everything to do with nonhuman animals.
